What We Believe
The Bible
We believe the Bible to be the scriptures of truth - the infallible and fully inspired word of God - the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
Mankind
We believe that because of sin men and women are incapable of saving themselves. Only an act of divine mercy and grace can save them. This alone comes from the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Blood of Christ
We believe in the effectiveness and the power of the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ to redeem and cleanse men and women from their sin. This means that all the just demands of a thrice Holy God have been satisfied because of the "Shed Blood", and no other remedy can wash a person from their sin.
The Godhead
We believe in the "Trinity and Unity of the Godhead". Almighty God exists in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
The Deity of Jesus Christ
We believe in the pre-existence of the Lord Jesus Christ as "The Son of God who became the Son of Man".
The Person of Jesus Christ
We believe in his miraculous virgin birth conceived of the Holy Ghost. We believe in his Impeccable Sinless Life "Living for us and keeping for us the law of God we could not keep".
We believe in His substitutional and atoning death at Calvary, paying in full the price God demanded for sin. He is - The Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.
We believe in His bodily resurrection - rising from the grave on the third day according to the scriptures.
We believe He is our great High Priest as He stands for us in the presence of God making intercession for us. He is our mediator between God and man.
We believe in His "personal" second coming - Bodily, Literally, Physically, to resurrect the righteous dead, to translate the living church and to set up His glorious and everlasting Kingdom.
The Church
We believe the Church of Jesus Christ is made up of men and women from every nation under Heaven who have experienced the new birth and are indwelt by the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the sovereignty and works of God the Holy Spirit. We believe in His gifts and His graces right to this present day. We believe in divine healing according to the scriptures and that the miraculous gifts recorded in the New Testament have never been taken out of the church.
